Well, being that I grew up on Jamaican Nutmeg, I will say I know nutmeg well as it is one of my favorite spices. Therefore, the nutmeg I received from Calabash Tea and Tonic -yum yum yum. My parents and grandparents only used nutmeg as a spice for dessert toppings, like pumpkin pie. With heartfelt gratitude to Calabash, I learned nutmeg has many more uses and is a staple spice in my house added to soups, grain based meals and I experiment wherever I can. This is a must need spice in every cabinet!
