The word Maroon is derived from the Spanish word “cimarron” which means wild, untamable and was used to describe enslaved Africans who escaped bondage. We celebrate the maroons for their bravery, their cunning and their ability to bring the powerful European powers to the table to negotiate.
Haven’t tried it yet, just came to say the packaging is great and full to the top! Hand written little note in packaging slip which was very nice! Also came in 5 days! Excited to try!
