Chai Spice Waffles

Wha Wi Ago Need
Waffles:
- 1 ¼ cups Kodiak Cakes Protein Pancake Mix
- 3 tsp Calabash Love Potion Chai Tea (grind finely)
- 4 tsp avocado oil
- 1 cup water
- Coconut Oil
Great toppings:
- add fruit according to preference
- a drizzle of agave, maple syrup or honey
- a dollop of Greek yogurt or preferred high protein yogurt adds that vital extra protein

Grind 2 tablespoons of Calabash Love Potion Chai Tea in a coffee grinder; grind until all large item are powdered nicely. Put through a strainer into your bowl.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well– no lumps!(if you need more water for looser batter, add more and mix to desired consistency

open the waffle iron and brush small pat of coconut oil on the surface

Heat the waffle iron. The waffle iron usually has a “ready” button for the heated to correct temperature

Once hot, immediately pour a 1/3 cup of mix into the waffle iron (for mini-waffles). For larger waffles use just shy of the batter.

Wait 1 minute and flip iron. If your item doesn’t flip, keep an eye on the browness or crispy level you desire.

Remove from the iron and serve hot. If making a large batch, place them in a warm oven or warm toaster over - but not with the element on - just preheated a bit.
